Former President Trump supports the bipartisan effort to ban members of Congress from trading stocks, especially House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Breitbart News asked Trump Wednesday about Pelosi’s lucrative stocks that consistently outperform the market.
“She has inside information. It’s not right. It’s not appropriate. It shouldn’t be,” Trump said.
He slammed her as “clever in one way and stone-cold crazy” in another, saying that she is trying to distract from the stock talk.
During a press conference on the Hill, Pelosi defended herself against the proposed bans saying she is a “capitalist” and should be able to do whatever she wants with investments.
“She should not be allowed to do that with the stocks. She should not be allowed to do that,” Trump added. “It’s not fair to the rest of this country.”
