Former President Trump took a shot at President Biden on the “Todd Starnes Show” Monday.
Host Todd Starnes pointed to when Biden joked about Trump walking down a ramp at a commencement speech compared to his fall at the Air Force Academy’s commencement address last week.
“Everybody knows after what happened to poor President Biden at the graduation, now people know why you were taking your time going down that ramp,” Starnes said.
“I call it going down an ice skating rink,” Trump said. “It was pouring and it was slick metal, just shiny, slick, no grooves, no nothing.”
The former president said he was “amazed” he was able to make it down the ramp.
“I should’ve just run it or taken off my shoes and just run it,” he added. “I had the general waiting. I said, ‘General, let me grab onto you because that was like an ice skating rink.”
He joked, “Whoever set that up. I think it was a booby trap. It must’ve been set up by the Democrats.”
Trump concluded, “We didn’t fall. We don’t fall.”
The media has been soft on Biden compared to Trump during his presidency.
The New York Times ran the headline, “Trump’s Halting Walk Down Ramp Raises New Health Questions.” The Biden headline reads, “Biden Falls Onstage at Air Force Commencement.”
