President Biden is getting slammed from both sides of the aisle for his interview with ABC News defending the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan that led to Taliban rule.
Biden told host George Stephanopoulos that the Taliban is going through an “existential crisis,” worrying about whether they have food to eat or income.
“I’m not sure I would’ve predicted – nor you George or anyone else – that, when we decided to leave that they’d provide safe passage for Americans to get out,” Biden said.
