VIDEO: Sen. Cruz GRILLS FBI – Demanding to Know Their Involvement in U.S. Capitol Riot

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) questioned an FBI official Tuesday on the role the agency, specifically Ray Epps, played in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. The FBI official declined to answer the majority of the questions.

Epps was caught on camera telling people to go into the Capitol and cause destruction. His face was removed from FBI Most Wanted posters.

National radio host Todd Starnes said it sounds like the FBI might have staged the entire situation.

“These are the questions that need to be addressed,” Starnes said. “What if this really was concocted by the FBI?”

Cruz’s questions come days after Fox News host Tucker Carlson obliterated the Texas politician for calling the Jan. 6 riot a “violent terrorist attack” last week.
