VIDEO: Singer Refuses to Shake Biden’s Hand

The duet, Yuval Dayan and Ran Danker, performed a mashup of an Israeli song and the Beatle’s hit “Let it be,” at President Isaac Herzog’s residence.

At the conclusion of the song, President Biden gestured for the singers to approach him.

Dayan smiled but refused to shake his hand because of her religious beliefs.

“The reason she refused is that as a religious Jew, Dayan is Shomeret Negiyah, a Biblical commandment to refrain from touching members of the opposite sex who are not a spouse,” Israel 365 News reports.
