Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was caught on camera dancing maskless at a large indoor wedding after she criticized Sen Rand Paul (R-KY) for urging Americans to defy CDC guidelines.
The Squad member was captured on an Instagram video of Bassam Saleh, a wedding band in Dearborn, Michigan, where there is “substantial” transmission of the China Virus, according to the CDC.
The band tagged the location as Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, a city in Wayne County, which is rated as an orange zone by the CDC, Fox News reports.
This means Tlaib and other guests were allegedly violating orders that call for indoor masking for people regardless of their vaccination status.
The hypocritical video was posted the same day she went on Twitter to attack Paul.
“The KY Senator is throwing a tantrum as his state is being swallowed whole by this virus, again,” Tlaib wrote on Twitter, along with a map of Kentucky showing COVID hotspots.
“People are getting sick and dying 98 counties in Kentucky have a high incidence rate of COVID-19. He needs to put politics aside, and put people first. Start resisting the virus,” she added.
Paul responded Tuesday on Twitter along with a New York Post article on Tlaib unmasked, writing: “Oh, the hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds.”
