Former President Trump was applauded when he made a surprise visit Saturday with New York City police and firefighters to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 Islamic terror attacks.
Trump was cheered at the NYPD’s 17th Precinct in the afternoon before going next door to Ladder Co. 2, the New York Post reports.
“I’ve been given so much support by the people who do what you do,” Trump said. “We love the blue. I’ll say it loud. You know, you’re not supposed to say that. We love the blue.”
