The 117th Congress opened with a moment of prayer delivered not to Almighty God, but to a “monotheistic god.”

We ask it in the name of the monotheistic god and the god known by many names and faiths,” Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) prayed. “Amen and A-Woman.”
