Many online have compared it to Jan. 6, calling it an “insurrection.”
Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) asked on Twitter, “Will the Left call this an insurrection too?”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said, “The trans mob are literally doing exactly what people did on J6 in Tennessee today after a trans murdered children & adults at a school shooting and on the eve of the ‘Trans Day of Vengeance’ in DC.”
She asked, “Will there be the same accountability for them as J6’ers?”

Pearson tweeted, “We took to the House floor demanding justice to end the support of the NRA, end the support of gun violence, & end support of these guns. The @TNGOP continue to support gun violence to the detriment of children, parents, & families. We must never quit!”
Johnson posted a video of protesters shouting, “What do we want? Gun control. When do we want it? Now.”
The anti-gun protesters destroyed signs of people with different views.
“Sarah Astor, 24, and Sean McGill, 25, had a sign that read: ‘The only thing stopping a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.’ Astor and McGill were approached by several people who ripped up the sign,” The Tennessean reports.
