Police in Philadelphia say nearly 60 teenage thugs rampaged through the streets, attacking innocent civilians and ransacking stores. Authorities estimate the teenagers caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.
A cashier suffered minor injuries when he tried to stop the criminal thugs, ABC News in Philadelphia reported.
“About 60 juveniles walked into the establishment and began removing things from the shelves, destroying property inside the store. The cashier attempted to intervene and some heavy item – I believe it was a bottle – was thrown at him, striking him in the head,” said Capt. Sekou Kinebrew.
In a separate incident, hundreds of teenagers caused disturbances in north Philadelphia — damaging four police cars.
In spite of the violence, not a single person was arrested in either incident. Not a single person.
“They don’t have no discipline. They don’t have no respect, they don’t respect their elders, they don’t respect us,” one woman told CBSPhilly.com.
