We Are Watching Obama’s Fundamental Transformation of America in Real Time

Provocative times call for provocative titles.

That’s according to Todd Starnes, author of the new blockbuster book “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left from Killing a Nation.”

“A lot of people have asked ‘What’s up with the title?’ and ‘Why is it so provocative?’” Starnes told the “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” radio program. “It’s because it is a provocative time in our country, and there is an attempt to silence American patriots around this nation.”

For example, Starnes pointed to a line in the book that says we are moving to a time where every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess the LGBT and Black Lives Matter agenda, or else you’re not going to be able to operate in the public marketplace.

“That’s why I wrote Culture Jihad,” said Starnes. “This is a warning. This is a wakeup call to the church in America. We have to wake up. We’ve got to get off the sidelines and we’ve got to get engaged in this culture fight.”

One reason why religious liberty is under attack is because of the push for socialism.

“Socialism can’t take root if you have religious liberty in the country,” Starnes explained. “That’s why they’re going to go after it, and after they get finished with religious liberty, they’re going to come after every other one of our rights.”

That, said Starnes, is why the 2020 presidential election and congressional races are so important.

“Had Hillary been in the White House and had the Democrats controlled the House and the Senate, I have no doubt that that Equality Act would have been signed into law,” Starnes continued. “That would have been legislation that would have silenced the church in America.”

It’s not all doom and gloom, however. Starnes said the book does offer hope.

Meanwhile, one reader is hoping to get copies of the book for a homeschool group.

“They want students to read this book so they can get an idea of what’s happening in the culture,” Starnes cheered.
