President Biden gave a divisive speech Thursday night, but he completely contradicted himself Friday when asked by the press.
National radio host Todd Starnes called out the president on Twitter:
“So now Biden says he doesn’t consider Trump supporters to be a threat to the country. He can’t remember what he said last night,” Starnes said.
During his fiery address that was framed with a bright red background, Biden painted Trump supporters as “an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.”
He even tweeted it out:
Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country.

However, he’s now backing away from that claim completely.
“You keep trying to make that case. I don’t consider any Trump supporters a threat to the country,” Biden told Fox’s Peter Doocy. “I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence, refuses to acknowledge an election…changing the way you count votes, that is a threat to democracy.”
