Over two dozen parents were investigated by the Biden DOJ for being concerned about their children’s education, according to an FBI whistleblower.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) recently sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland accusing the FBI of opening “at least dozens” of investigations into parents and others using the counterterrorism threat tag.
Jordan told the “Todd Starnes Show” Tuesday that one mom was put on the list because she was in the “Moms for Liberty” group and also had a firearm.
“If you investigate every mom who cares about the education of her kids and owns a firearm, you’re gonna need to investigate half the country for goodness sake,” Jordan said.
He credited all the whistleblowers for sharing information with his office.
“This is the case study on how political they’ve made the Department of Justice because this was the first thing, this was over a year ago now when the letter first happened,” Jordan said.
“Of course, today marks the day that Merrick Garland did the memorandum to all U.S. attorneys around the country saying treat parents as domestic terrorists, and that was of course followed up by the email from the FBI saying put this threat tag designation on moms and dads that they went out and investigated. We know they investigated over two dozen parents,” he added. “So this is as serious as it gets. The very first whistleblower we had was on this particular issue. It’s scary to see what this justice department is up to.”
