Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) violated her own coronavirus orders over the weekend.

The embattled Democrat governor apologized after a photo emerged on social media.

Whitmer was pictured with a large group — all unmasked and not social distancing — at The Landshark Bar & Grill in East Lansing, according to the Detroit Free Press.

“Yesterday, I went with friends to a local restaurant,” Whitmer said in a statement obtained by the paper. “As more people arrived, the tables were pushed together. Because we were all vaccinated, we didn’t stop to think about it. In retrospect, I should have thought about it. I am human. I made a mistake, and I apologize.”

She still requires people in her state to social distance at restaurants with no more than six people at a table.

This comes as Whitmer was just hit with an ethics complaint for reportedly taking a private jet to Florida while cautioning Michiganders not to leave the state.
