State Department spokesman Ned Price is getting mocked on social media for calling on the Taliban to create an “inclusive” government with “full and meaningful participation of women.”
Newsmax White House Correspondent Emerald Robinson responded: “The same people who were flying a rainbow flag two months ago in Kabul are now asking the Taliban to be ‘inclusive’ and ‘include women.'”
“Kudos to Ned Price for being able to say that with a straight face,” Republican strategist Amy Tarkanian tweeted.
Others mocked: “WOKE Taliban,” “You can’t make this up.”
The Taliban said Tuesday they have almost concluded talks on the formation of an “inclusive Islamic” government in Afghanistan, VOA News reports.
However, the Taliban’s definition of “inclusive” is vastly different than the one used in Human Resources departments across the country.
