Famed Bible study teacher Beth Moore said she left the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) for “weirdness.”

“I’m comfortable where I am right now because where I am because the only thing women can’t do in my region and where I go to church is that they can’t be the senior pastor or priest,” she said. “But we have some women deacons.”
She explained, “There’s just not a weird vibe.”
The anti-Trump Texas-based best-selling author said her local church has kept her “happy” for all these years.

“I had to, let me tell you, I had to leave the SBC because you are held responsible for the knowledge you have,” Moore said in the clip.
