Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.

Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco hosted a Drag Queen Bible Story Hour.

It’s the first time in 200 years that drag queens were invited to participate in a Sunday church service.

The church also posted a prayer – thanking God for drag queens.

“For the gift of drag queens, O God, we give you thanks,” the prayer read.

Victor Floyd is the pastor of the congregation. He says they decided to honor the drag queens in response to what he called hateful rhetoric.

One of the queens happens to be a self-described lesbian evangelist who was kicked out of the PCUSA – one of the most liberal denominations in the country.

How kooky is your theology if even the PCUSA won’t take you?

Another drag queen, who goes by “Flamey Grant,” told a local TV station they need to combat shame with pride.

And what sort of church would expose small children to a bunch of grown men in dresses and painted faces?

As Jesus once said, “Whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

Do churches need to get back to the Bible?
