Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, the darling millennial of the Democrat Party, was left trembling in fear the other day. It turns out, she was triggered by a common household appliance — a garbage disposal.
“I am told this is a garbage disposal. I’ve never seen a garbage disposal,” she said in a video posted on Instagram. “I never had one in any place I’ve ever lived. It is terrifying. I don’t know what it’s for, or what its purpose is. Like, food scraps? Like, is this environmentally sound?”
Cortez, who just moved into a brand new apartment in Washington, D.C., said she had never seen such modern conveniences.
“Like what is a garbage disposal really for?”
Gov. Mike Huckabee said on the Todd Starnes Radio Show that he was dumbfounded that a 29-year-old member of Congress had never seen a garbage disposal and did not know what it was used for.
“For the love of God,” Huckabee said. “A 29-year-old member of Congress and she has never ever seen a garbage disposal?”
Huckabee then offered some friendly advice on what the congresswoman should use the garbage disposal for.
“Here honey, take all the speeches you’ve ever given, put them in there turn the sucker on and you will doing the world a great, great service, he said.
It’s bad enough that she wants to shut down air travel and exterminate gassy cows — but she’s terrified of a household appliance?
Lord only knows what’s going to happen when she finds out the apartment also comes with a dishwasher — and toaster oven.
