Yet another American citizen has been killed on American soil and police says the suspect is a previously-deported illegal alien with gang affiliations and a long criminal record.
Police officer Ronil Singh was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Newman, California. Singh, a legal immigrant left behind a wife and a five-month-old baby.
So a legal immigrant was gunned down by an illegal immigrant in a sanctuary state.
It’s beyond horrific, folks. It’s grossly offensive.
Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said on the Todd Starnes Radio Show that the police officer would still be alive today if California had not been a sanctuary state.
He called on Congress to stop demonizing federal law enforcement officers who are trying to protect the nation from some very dangerous people.
“We clearly have evidence that there are people in our country who are committing crimes against others up to and including murder – that don’t need to be in this country,” he said.
Governor Jerry Brown and every other lawmaker who supported California’s sanctuary state law have blood on their hands today. Every single one.
It’s time for President Trump to shut down the border and implement financial penalties against any American city or state that protects illegal aliens.
We are in the middle of a full-scale invasion of our nation. We are facing a tsunami of crime and disease and poverty. Yet, all we are getting from Washington is bloviating bluster.
No more compromise.
The Democrats have made clear they will not protect the American people. So the president has a constitutional responsibility to protect and defend us from all enemies foreign and domestic.
Officer Singh was assassinated by a foreign enemy operating on American soil. This is war.
Shut down the border, Mr. President — and keep it closed until that wall gets built.
