If you’ve ever been to Coney Island you’ve probably had a hot dog at Nathan’s Famous. Nathan’s is home to the world famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating competition.
But these days Nathan’s is facing a food fight of a political nature.
Bloomberg reports that the executive chairman of Nathan’s recently held a fund raiser for President Trump in the Hampton’s.
Howard Lorber is a longtime friend of the president – a best friend according to The New York Times.
Their friendship gave hot dog lovers a bad case of indigestion. Hundreds voiced their displeasure online — many calling for a boycott – including the musical artist Questlove.

To be clear — Nathan’s does not have a political agenda nor do they endorse any political parties. They just serve delicious hot dogs – slathered in mustard.
This Trump bashing has really gotten out of control, folks. The Left needs to get a grip and stop roasting Nathan’s weenies.
