The latest example of TDS happened outside a fundraiser for President Trump in Beverly Hills.
Protesters burned the American flag and chanted, “America was never great.”
Gregg Donovan told KCBS he was unable to attend the fundraiser because of the militant protesters.
He instead waited outside with a sign to show support for Trump.
“The burning of the flag really hurt,” he told the television station.
One Trump supporter wearing a red “Keep America Great” told television station KABC.
“I didn’t know what was going on,” Harim Uzziel said. “I saw a scuffle in between. One of them came to the sidewalk and he started punching me and attacking me. I had a camera in each hand so I wasn’t able to defend myself.”
