Mayor Michael Bloomberg has turned arrogance into an art form.

In 2016 he told a gathering at Oxford’s Said Business School that he could “teach anybody in this room” to be a farmer.

Mini-Mike wouldn’t know a butter bean from a black-eyed pea.

He contrasted farming with the “gray matter” necessary to work on a computer.

“It’s a process – you dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on to, add water, up comes the corn.”

He went on to say working in the modern communication world is “fundamentally different, because it’s built around replacing people with technology and the skill sets you need to learn are how to think and analyze and that is a whole degree level different, you need to have different skill set, you have to have a lot more gray matter.”

What a pompous jerk.

“Bloomberg wouldn’t last 3 seconds as a farmer… but like his comments on minorities, you can tell he really hates regular hard-working Americans. He will never fight for them because he couldn’t care less about them,” Donald Trump, Jr. wrote in a tweet.

Whatever Bloomberg knows about farming he probably learned by watching “Green Acres.”

In the words of former President Dwight Eisenhower, “Farming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil & you’re a thousand miles from the corn field.”
