The Vatican said it would provide edited footage after the encounter, the Associated Press reported.
“The Vatican press office provided no explanation for why the live broadcast of Biden’s visit had been trimmed to cover just the arrival of the president’s motorcade in the courtyard of the Apostolic Palace, where a Vatican monsignor will greet him,” the AP reported.
Among the events that were cancelled included President Biden greeting the pope in the palace throne room as well as the traditional footage of the two men beginning their private talks.
Is it possible that either the president or the pope might be suffering some sort of health issue?
