DISGUST! NBC News Asks Catholic Teen if He “Sees His Own Fault”

Nick Sandmann, the young man who was accosted by the Native American activist in front of the Lincoln Memorial, agreed to an interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie.

The entire interview will air Wednesday, but the network released a preview clip that shows Ms. Guthrie behaving exactly how you would expect her to behave — rudely.

“Do you feel from this experience that you owe anybody an apology? Do you see your own fault in any way,” she asked the teenage boy.

Nick, a student at Covington Catholic High School, responded eloquently — with dignity and respect.

“As far as standing there, I had every right to do so,” he replied. “I was not disrespectful to Mr. Phillips.”

Ms. Guthrie may as well have banged a bongo in front of the young man. I just hope the rest of the interview is not as disrespectful to Nick or his classmates.

Meanwhile, I have a question for Savannah Guthrie: Do you feel from this experience that you owe anybody an apology? Do you see your own fault in any way?
