Facebook Punishes Franklin Graham Over LGBT Bathroom Bill Post

EDITOR’S NOTE: Facebook is cracking down on Conservative content. Many of you have complained that you never see our content in your newsfeeds. There’s only one way to fight back — and that’s by subscribing to my FREE weekly newsletter. Click here.

Facebook punished Evangelical leader Franklin Graham because of a 2016 post he wrote supporting legislation in North Carolina that would’ve prevented men from using the ladies room.

Graham, the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, said he was banned from Facebook for 24 hours because of the bathroom bill post.

“Facebook said the post went against their ‘community standards on hate speech,'” Graham wrote on the social media platform after the ban was lifted.

“Facebook is trying to define truth. There was a character in a movie a few years back who said, ‘The truth is what I say it is!’ That’s what Facebook is trying to do,” Graham said. “They’re making the rules and changing the rules. Truth is truth. God made the rules and His Word is truth.”

This is why I am imploring every reader to sign up for my weekly conservative newsletter. Click here to subscribe and be sure to invite your friends and family to sign up. It’s the only way we can guarantee that you receive important news about faith and family — without being censored by Facebook. And it’s FREE.

And that’s exactly what Facebook is doing – they are censoring free speech. We have more than 260,000 followers but only a handful actually get to see my content on their news feeds. This is shameful.

“The free exchange of ideas is part of our country’s DNA,” he said.

  • April 9, 2016— “Bruce Springsteen, a long-time gay rights activist, has cancelled his North Carolina concert. He says the NC law #HB2 to prevent men from being able to use women’s restrooms and locker rooms is going “backwards instead of forwards.” Well, to be honest, we need to go back! Back to God. Back to respecting and honoring His commands. Back to common sense. Mr. Springsteen, a nation embracing sin and bowing at the feet of godless secularism and political correctness is not progress. I’m thankful North Carolina has a governor, Pat McCrory, and a lieutenant governor, Dan Forest, and legislators who put the safety of our women and children first! HB2 protects the safety and privacy of women and children and preserves the human rights of millions of faith-based citizens of this state.”
