Hogan Gidley, director of the Center for Election Integrity and a Newsmax contributor, told the Todd Starnes Radio Show Tuesday President Biden is hurting Americans with bad policies.

Gidley examined the supply chain crisis, vaccine mandates, and presidential overreach coming from the Biden administration.

“When you pass good policies, good things happen. When you pass bad policies, it hurts American families and the people all across this country,” Gidley told host Todd Starnes. “That’s what we’re seeing today. Inflation is proof of that.”

The supply chain crisis was a significant topic of the interview as Thanksgiving is coming soon, and resources are scarce. According to the Center for Election Integrity director, the policies put in place by the current administration have made it more challenging to live as prices are rising across the country and wage growth is minimal.

“Joe Biden himself mocked the fact that if you ask the average American, they don’t understand the supply chain,” Gidley continued. “Well, I got news for you. Every single American out there may not know the intricacies of the supply chain but what they do know is that the result of that messed up situation is affecting their bottom line.

“Regardless of where you stand politically…you know that your family has less money to live, and that’s a direct result of Biden policies.”

The Newsmax contributor explained that the Biden Administration has “no ground to stand on legally” for enforcing a mask mandate for businesses. He believes that the administration imagines they can implement an unconstitutional mandate because a left-leaning judge will dismiss it when under pressure.

Gidley pointed out that while Biden blamed Trump for all the COVID deaths during the last administration, Biden now blames the fact that there have been more COVID deaths under Biden than Trump on the governors rather than his administration.

Due to the policies implemented during the Biden Administration, the current president’s approval rating is at an all-time low, only slightly beating the vice president’s approval rating.

“I would argue that 93 percent of the news coverage on President Trump was negative. So, there was a lot of manufactured outrage against President Trump by the mainstream media,” Gidley stated. “That same mainstream media has tried to tell us that inflation is good, that Joe Biden is doing a great job… that they try to cover for him at every turn. “

“So, when you see polling data that shows 71 percent of the people feel like this country is going in the wrong direction, what that tells you is the vitriol and anger towards Joe Biden is not media manufactured. It is real.”

Below is a rushed transcript of Hogan Gidley’s interview on the Todd Starnes Radio Show Tuesday:

Starnes: Let’s go to the Patriot mobile newsmaker line. Our good friend Hogan Gidley, who is director of the Center for Election Integrity, is also a Newsmax contributor. Hogan, I mean, when you hear these reports, I mean, it’s rough out there for the average American.

Gidley: It really is. Thanks for having me on today. And you know, you said that elections have consequences, and they do, but so do policies. And when you pass good policies, good things happen. When you pass bad policies, it hurts American families and the people all across this country. And that’s what we’re seeing today. Inflation is proof of that. Any wage growth at all that’s happening, which is minuscule at best. Is it, you know, is nullified by the fact that prices are skyrocketing across this country, whether it be to buy a turkey, whether it be for gasoline, whether it be for any other good or service you’re trying to purchase. It’s a serious problem for the American people. And so, the policies that this administration has passed and installed have really gone to hurt our lives and make life in this country a lot more difficult to live. And so, I think as we head to the holidays when you have officials in the administration kind of shrugging off the fact that gas prices are high or the secretaries of these various cabinet agencies kind of laughing it off like it is not a big deal, chuckling at the fact that the people can’t afford to heat and cool their homes or put fuel in their tank. When Joe Biden himself mocked the fact that if you ask the average American, they don’t understand the supply chain. Well, I got news for you. Every single American out there may not know the intricacies of the supply chain. They may. But what they do know is that the result of that messed up situation is affecting their bottom line. And so, regardless of where you stand politically on the folks running for office or holding office, you know that your family has less money to live. And that’s a direct result of Biden policies.

Starnes: I live in a fairly affluent part of Memphis, Germantown, and even the local message boards; people are sharing information on where to buy the cheapest food, where to find a turkey. You know, it’s just unbelievable. The shortages and people all across, you know, the economic spectrum are suffering the same fate at the grocery stores trying to find those good deals. Hogan, meanwhile, you’ve got Biden’s approval rating just cratering. But even worse than he is the vice president, which is the worst in modern political history with a 28 percent approval rating. Hers is even lower than congressional Democrats.

Gidley: Oh, you’re absolutely right. That should be troubling. The Democrats should be troubling to the administration, but it shouldn’t be surprising. I mean, the media tried to force-feed us, Kamala Harris, during the primary on the Democrat side never would take off. In fact, she was somewhere around eighth or ninth among African American voters behind Bernie Sanders, behind Elizabeth Warren. So, she’s never been popular. She had one chance she took one swing at Joe Biden, where she called him a segregationist and a sex criminal on the debate stage. That didn’t go over well. She had T-shirts ready to go, so the whole thing was contrived, as you know. But more than that, she’s hitched her wagon to Joe Biden. And I talked about the policies before. As those policies begin to take effect, real people out there face the real consequences. And I would argue that 93 percent of the news coverage on President Trump was negative. So, there was a lot of manufactured outrage against President Trump by the mainstream media. But that same mainstream media has tried to tell us that inflation is good, that Joe Biden is doing a great job, that him going to climate conferences and taking a nap, doing what he does in front of foreign leaders that I won’t mention on this show that are also problematic, that they try to cover for him at every turn. So, when you see polling data that shows 71 percent of the people feel like this country is going in the wrong direction, a majority of Americans don’t want Joe Biden to run for reelection. What that? It tells you, is the vitriol and anger towards Joe Biden is not media manufactured. It is real, and that is a problem moving forward for the Democrats.

Starnes: On the Patriot mobile newsmaker line, our good friend Hogan Gidley, Newsmax Contributor, Hogan, on top of all of that. You’ve got these vaccine mandates, the White House coming out earlier today and telling businesses to ignore the 5th Circuit Court and to go ahead and start implementing these mandatory vaccine policies. And then, over the weekend, you had the White House say that it’s not off the table, that they could target small business owners as well.

Gidley: I mean, again, not surprising. Let’s talk about Barack Obama for a minute, telling everyone multiple times he couldn’t do doca and then just did it, ignoring the laws on the books. Joe Biden said the same thing about the mandate. No, we’re not going to do that would never do that. Now he’s trying to do it has no ground to stand on legally—same thing with the rent moratorium. He doesn’t have a legal ground to do it. I’m going to do it anyway because they feel like they can find a judge out there who can sympathize with the problem because they lean left, and they follow politics, and they’re afraid of any type of pressure from the locusts and all the others. And so, they’ll side with the Biden administration and try and cramdown this unconstitutional mandate on the American people. This is another issue where Joe Biden used to have numbers that polled positively was his reaction to coronavirus. But now, what we see are more deaths under Joe Biden than under Donald Trump. And remember, Joe Biden made the comment that it was Donald Trump’s fault. Every single death was on Donald Trump because he didn’t act right. He didn’t do the right thing. Now, all of a sudden, when you see deaths across the country more than Donald Trump had on his administration, Joe Biden says, Well, that’s the governor’s fault, not me. The governors see how that works; how easy it is to shift blame. Fact is, this is all Joe Biden’s doing. The American people don’t like the mandates. Many people have gotten the vaccine. We have reached herd immunity by all available data and all available numbers. The problem is, is, you know that the vaccine doesn’t stop the spread of the virus. In fact, those who have it often carry a bigger viral load is according to the CDC data. And they are the ones spreading it to the lie continues that this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, when in fact, data shows it’s still spreading around whether you’ve been vaccinated or not. So, it’s a serious issue that people don’t trust the members of the administration. They don’t trust the CDC because it’s been pretty clear for a long time that they’ve been playing politics and not following the science, contrary to what they tell you.

Starnes: Well, said Art Hogan, we’re going to leave it there. Always good to hear from you. Take care of yourself.

Gidley: Thanks so much, talk to you soon.

Starnes: All right, Hogan Gidley, ladies and gentlemen, Newsmax contributor, director of the Center for Election Integrity as well, and a great American Patriot J. Hogan Gidley is his Twitter handle.
