A passionate Todd Starnes Radio Show listener plans to light up the sky on the Fourth of July — by burning face masks.
Barbara from Benton, Arkansas, who was listening on KARN, called in Tuesday to share the big event.

“On the Fourth of July, we are having a bonfire at my house and we are inviting anybody that wants to bring their face burkas over and throw them on the fire,” Barbara said. “We are going to be liberated on July the Fourth.”
She added. “I don’t want to see another face mask anywhere near me!”
Nationally syndicated radio host Todd Starnes said, “I love this! This could be the start of a national trend, and maybe for people all around America to declare their freedom, can set their own face masks on fire.”
“I challenge every red-blooded American, who is patriotic, to light up them fires, and set them (face) burkas on fire,” Barbara said.
Starnes said it’s people like Barbara that give him hope.
“You don’t bow down to the government,” he said. “You take a stand.”
