The Vermont State Police is investigating a death threat mailed to Deserae Morin, a Republican candidate for the state house.
Morin posted a copy of the letter on her Facebook page:
“C**t,
We are hunting you. My comrades will kill you and the Constitution. First we will rape you for days. You will scream and know that agonizing horror. No equal rights for Republicans. Socialism is here. Open season for Republican death in Vermont.
Fear our revolution. It’s time.”
“I’m trying not to take it too seriously, because it’s most likely, it’s just an empty threat,” Morin told television station WCAX.
