THE THIRD HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:

UPDATES:

2:05pm – ***  WELCOME KGTK 920 AM & KITZ 1400 AM****

Trump’s Worst Nightmare? Students at Grand County High School in Utah were supposed to attend poetry slam workshops on tolerance and acceptance. Instead, students were subjected to political rhetoric, LGBT propaganda and something called “identity mapping.” One of the workshop leaders announced to the children, “I’m queer and I’m Trump’s worst enemy.” And some students were directed by workshop leaders to separate themselves intro groups based on their sexual identity and their religious preference. Starnes reports!

2:20pm –Open/Calls/Audio/(Possible Story) Name Change! A Mississippi school is shedding the name of the Confederacy’s only president and will instead be named for the first African-American president of the United States. Davis International Baccalaureate Elementary School in Jackson was named decades ago for Jefferson Davis. The school with 98 percent African-American enrollment is set to be renamed for Barack Obama in the next academic year, in a move proposed by parents and approved by a majority of students, parents, faculty and staff members. The PTA president, Janelle Jefferson, announced the planned change at a school board meeting Tuesday.” The students had overwhelming support for President Obama,” Jefferson told The Associated Press on Wednesday. She said a three-week process led to the vote. People at the school offered suggestions for new names. Students in each class, from kindergarten through fifth grade, conducted research and presented it at a school assembly. Fourth- and fifth-graders oversaw an election with students, teachers and staff casting paper ballots at school. Parents could vote on campus or by absentee ballot.”

2:30pm-  Guest: Dr. Paul Chappell, Senior Pastor of Lancaster Baptist Church (LBC) and co-author of latest book “Are We There Yet? Marriage—a Perfect Journey for Imperfect Couples”

THE SECOND HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:

UPDATES:

1:05pm- Banned! The University of Montana’s Journalism School is being accused of denying a speaker on religious and political grounds. The Cole Memorial Scholarship has been a regular feature at the J-School for more than a decade, but benefactor Maria Cole says that the speaker she invited for the tenth anniversary Jeff Cole lecture has been denied a place to speak. Cole invited professor Mike Adams from the University of North Carolina Wilmington who is famous for winning a 2014 First Amendment case in the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in which he claimed his university was retaliating against him for his conservative views. Cole says Adams’ views aren’t welcome at the University of Montana either.
1:20pm- Guest: Mike Adams, Professor, free speech advocate, pro-life speaker, author of Letters to a Young Progressive, and columnist at Townhall.com.

1:30pm- Dying Traditions! A popular graduation tradition at California’s Camarillo High School is about to come to an end because – well – because the grownups who run the school district are morons. For as far back as anyone can remember graduates wore gowns reflecting the school colors. The guys wore navy blue gowns and the gals worn blue gowns. But that tradition just got deep-sixed for the sake of gender inclusivity – and now graduates will only be allowed to wear one color that represents all genders. “This is a very big national initiative,” Oxnard Union High School District Supt. Penelope DeLeon told the student newspaper.  “It is not about gender equality as much as it is about being respectful to everybody’s choice to select a gender or not to select a gender, and we have students who choose not to.” Todd reacts!

1:50pm- Eric Holder is part of the resistance?

TONIGHT EVENT

Media War! As many Democrats weaponize Gold Star families against the GOP, mainstream media outlets now seem to be approaching the families of dead soldiers one by one in an attempt to find the next controversy surrounding President Trump. Earlier this week, Trump said former President Obama and past presidents didn’t always call the families of soldiers who died while serving the country during a Rose Garden press conference. “The traditional way, if you look at President Obama and other presidents, most of them didn’t make calls, a lot of them didn’t make calls,” Trump said. “I like to call when it’s appropriate.” These comments by Trump lit a fire under Democrats, both in the media and in Washington.
