THE THIRD HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
2:05pm – On The Attack! Leftist protesters interrupted a College Republicans meeting Sunday night in the library at the University of California, Santa Cruz, calling members “fascists,” “racists” and “white supremacists” during a lengthy demonstration that ended in three arrests. Though the College Republicans initially offered to speak to the protesters, those demonstrating refused to leave and demanded instead the Republicans end their meeting. One person in attendance, a Democrat, stood up, however, and defended his right-leaning fellow students.
2:30pm- Revive! Guest: Kirk Cameron, the ’80s TV sitcom star turned evangelical Christian. Cameron hosts Revive Us 2, the second National Family Meeting, live on Tuesday, October 24, from the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.
THE SECOND HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
1:05pm- Rock Star? “I’m a rock star now.” That’s how a Florida Democrat has reacted to her recent notoriety after becoming tangled in a controversy over her account of President Donald Trump’s condolence phone call to a U.S. Army widow. “You mean to tell me that I’ve become so important that the White House is following me and my words?” U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson asked reporters Thursday. “This is amazing. That’s amazing. I’ll have to tell my kids that I’m a rock star now.” Later Thursday, President Trump accused Wilson of lying in her account of the phone call between Trump and the widow of a U.S. service member who was recently killed in Africa. The same tweet also asserts that news organizations have been “going crazy” with U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson’s version of the story.

12:05pm- On The Defense! White House Chief of Staff John Kelly’s emotional condemnation of Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson’s attack on President Trump’s – over his handling of a condolence call to an Army widow — slammed the door on liberals’ latest attempts to take down the commander-in-chief … Wilson alleged that Trump told the widow of Army Sgt. La David Johnson during a phone call that “he knew what he signed up for” – a claim the president said was fabricated. Kelly on Thursday defended the president, adding he was “stunned” and “brokenhearted” that Wilson would listen in on such a sacred and private phone call and then criticize the president’s tone in the media. Rep. Wilson and other liberals immediately responded by arguing Kelly was trying to keep his job and “would say anything.” However, Kelly, had a unique perspective because his own son was killed in Afghanistan in 2010. Democrats and the media were slammed for politicizing a tragedy and trying to weaponize Gold Star families in their political war on Trump. Cue the left attacks!
12:20pm- Say What? Decrying what he called bigotry, bullying and prejudice in politics, former President George W. Bush bluntly warned about dangers to democracy, both abroad and here at home. He spoke at a New York City forum sponsored by his Dallas-based Bush Institute, called ‘The Spirit of Liberty At Home, In the World.’ He warned that democracy is weakening in the coarseness of current politics. “People of every race, religion and ethnicity can be fully and equally American. It means bigotry or white supremacy in any form is blasphemy against the American creed, and it means that the very identity of our nation depends on the passing of civic ideals to the next generation,” he said. “Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication.” Question: Was the former President in the wrong to criticize Trump? 888-788-9910 Where was he for the 8 years that Obama was in office?
