A blowout for me, but not for thee.
That’s how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lives her life. She’s demanding that the owner of a San Francisco hair salon apologize for cutting her hair in violation of the law.
“I think that this salon owes me an apology, for setting me up,” she said, accusing the owner of eSalon of a conspiracy.
“I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I’ve been to over the years many times and when they said, ‘We’re able to accommodate people one person at a time.’ I trusted that,” the speaker said.
Fox News posted security footage of Pelosi’s visit on Tuesday.
“It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” the single mom added.

Republican National Committee spokeswoman Liz Harrington said there have been instances of salon owners who have opened their business against local laws being jailed.

“You can’t get your hair done, eat inside at a restaurant, travel, attend a funeral, or protest without mandatory quarantining. But Democrats can,” Harrington wrote in an email to the San Francisco Chronicle. “This isn’t about health or science. It’s about power. Democrats want to rule your life. But don’t expect their rules to apply to them.”
The owner of eSalon, Erica Kious, told Fox that she had been unable to prevent Pelosi’s visit. She said an independent stylist who rents a chair in her establishment was the one who hosted Pelosi.
“I was like, are you kidding me right now? Do I let this happen? What do I do?” salon owner Erica Kious told Fox News upon learning of Pelosi’s request for an appointment.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) told the Todd Starnes Show that Americans are disgusted by Pelosi’s double standard.
“Even though the average person can’t go to the salon and get a haircut, she can go,” she told Starnes. “They see her going in for special treatment to a salon that is only open for her. They see the hypocrisy of this.”
Democrats won’t let Jews bury their dead in New York City, but Speaker Pelosi can get a wash and blowout in San Francisco.
