A San Diego charter school is facing outrage and controversy over a mural painted on school property that depicts an Aztec warrior spearing President Trump’s decapitated, bloody head.
CBS 8 reports the mural was painted on a wall at MAAC Charter School in Chula Vista. The school is chartered by the Sweetwater Union High School District.
The television station reports that a number of parents and residents said the artwork was inappropriate — especially on school property.
“It was just not appropriate about our president. I know a lot of people disagree with him but we have to pray for our leader,” one resident said.
But there were also residents who admired the bloodied head of the president.
“It looks real nice. I wish I would’ve drew it,” one man told television station KUSI.
After local television exposed the violent and vulgar artwork, it was covered in a tarp and blocked by a bus.
“We understand that there was a mural painted at the event this past weekend that does not align with our school’s philosophy of non-violence,” school district director Tommy Ramirez said in a statement. “We have been in communication with the artist who has agreed to modify the artwork to better align with the school’s philosophy.”
However, a woman who identified herself as the artist said she has no intention of modifying the so-called “art work.”
I doubt the culture jihadists will weigh in on this offensive piece of garbage. They’re too busy bulldozing statues and monuments and crosses.
