Leftists lost it online after national radio host Todd Starnes spoke about “faith and freedom” at the Pray Vote Stand Summit in Georgia Thursday.
“When you take God out of our founding documents, when you take God out of our way of life, when you marginalize our churches, you get chaos in the culture,” Starnes told the crowd at First Baptist Atlanta.
The “Todd Starnes Show” host tweeted the clip: “Triggering progressives from coast to coast.”

Many on the left responded to a video of the speech posted by the Family Research Council on Twitter calling Starnes “ignorant”, and telling Starnes to recheck his facts.

Is Todd really that ignorant about America’s founding documents? Our Constitution says nothing about God other than to make sure that religion has no say in our government. The Declaration was using God as a political prop, much like right-wing bigots do today.— David Jensen🇺🇸🌻🇩🇰 (@DAJensen07) September 15, 2022
Not true. Go look at Jefferson’s notes at Monticello. “Creator” applied to ALL religions. Not just ones that grift for membership dues.— Ambien Stupor 🇺🇦 (@AmbienStupor) September 15, 2022
