Nationally syndicated radio host Todd Starnes was highlighted by Talkers Magazine Tuesday.
The “Todd Starnes Radio Show” host was a guest on “The Michael Harrison Interview” podcast. Harrison, editor and publisher of Talkers, praised Starnes for his talk radio show and “growing media empire.”
“It’s a lot of fun,” Starnes said. “The great thing about the radio business is that every day is different and you never know what sort of challenges or adventures are going to come your way.”
Starnes recently cracked the 100-affiliate milestone for his syndicated talk radio show, a little over a year after purchasing Memphis talk station 990 AM KWAM, his flagship station.
“People are just excited to have a locally owned and locally run radio station,” Starnes said. “And we take pride in the fact that our news is delivered here and not in some sort of a hub, in Cincinnati or Louisville, Kentucky.”
Starnes also teased his first non-political book, “Our Daily Biscuit: Devotions with a Drawl.”
