THE THIRD HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW
2:05pm – War On Christmas! Step aside Ebenezer, there’s a new Scrooge in town. This Advent, the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., was forced to sue the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority after the agency rejected the archdiocese’s Christmas ad for Metro trains and buses. Last Friday, the district court ruled against the archdiocese. According to the WMATA, the archdiocese’s annual “Find the Perfect Gift” ad campaign, which encourages people to head to church during the Advent and Christmas season, violates WMATA’s advertising guidelines because the ad “depicts a religious scene” (the nativity) “and thus seeks to promote religion. In a ruling signed Dec. 8, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson wrote that it is unlikely church officials would be able to prove that their constitutional rights were being violated by a D.C. Metro policy that prohibits religious advertising. Amy Berman Jackson joined the court in 2011 after being appointed by former President Barack Obama.

THE SECOND HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW
1:05pm- On The Attack! President Trump slammed “Lightweight” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand early Tuesday after the New York Democrat sought his resignation in connection with allegations of sexual misconduct — claims the president called “false” and “fabricated.” The president was reacting to claims revived by three female accusers during a press conference and TV interview on Monday, amid an apparent effort to shift the sexual harassment spotlight from Congress to the White House. The women, who had previously accused the president of sexual misconduct, called for a congressional investigation into the president. Gillibrand, who helped lead calls for Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., to resign over groping allegations, in turn said on CNN that Trump should resign as well. “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!” Trump tweeted Tuesday. Gillibrand was quick to fire back!

12:50pm- Terror in NYC! The alleged Port Authority bomber has been formally hit with a slew of terror-related charges, authorities said Tuesday. Akayed Ullah, 27, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, support act of terrorism, and making a terroristic threat in connection with Monday’s attack, police said. Ullah, a native of Bangladesh living in Brooklyn, allegedly detonated a homemade pipe bomb at the start of the morning rush inside the underground subway passageway linking the Times Square and Port Authority subway stations. The attempted suicide bombing in New York early Monday would never have happened if President Trump’s immigration policies had been in place, the White House said after it was revealed that the terror suspect had entered the country via chain migration.
