12:05pm– Trump is expected to declassify the FISA memo that was transmitted to the white house by Rep. Devin Nunes. This is the version that included some “technical edits” at the request of the FBI.
According to sources, the edited version is the version that was shown to 5 FBI officials at the White House on Tuesday afternoon. Sources say the FBI officials were satisfied that the edited documents addressed concerns they had about the earlier version they reviewed on Monday regarding sources and methods. That’s why the FBI statement on Wednesday was so surprising. The edits were made at the request of the FBI, yet now the FBI is complaining that certain information is missing.
