THE FIRST HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW

12:05pm- Release it! A four-page memo circulating in Congress that reveals alleged United States government surveillance abuses is being described by lawmakers as “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming,” with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia. Speaking with Fox News, the lawmakers said they could not yet discuss the contents of the memo they reviewed on Thursday after it was released to members by the House Intelligence Committee. But they say the memo should be immediately made public. “It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan said. “It’s troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said. “Part of me wishes that I didn’t read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.” Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz said he believed people could lose their jobs after the memo is released. “I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice,” he said, referencing DOJ officials Rod Rosenstein and Bruce Ohr.

THE SECOND HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW

1:05pm- March! Vice President Pence greeted anti-abortion activists Thursday night on the eve of the March for Life, saying President Trump has “made a difference for life” in his first year in office.  On Friday, Trump will become the first president to directly address the 45-year-old anti-abortion protest march. Previous presidents — including Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush — have done so with a phone call or recorded message. Trump will do it in the White House Rose Garden. It’s part of an effort by the Trump administration to show off its anti-abortion credentials as the 45th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade approaches next week. Guest: Hogan Gidley, White House Deputy Press Secretary

1:30pm- And So it Begins! Rep. Al Green presented articles of impeachment on the House floor – yet again – Friday morning calling President Trump “unfit” for office, just one month after the House overwhelmingly rejected his last proposal, and just one day before Trump’s one year anniversary as commander-in-chief.   Green, D-Texas, has repeatedly called for the president’s removal from office.   “[The president] is unfit to defend the ideals that made America great, unfit to defend liberty and justice for all, unfit to defend the American ideals of all people created equal,” Green said on the House floor Friday morning. “Donald J. Trump is unfit to represent American values of decency and morality.” Green accused Trump of “casting contempt among Muslims and sowing discord amongst the people of the United States,” before calling for his impeachment. Green said the president should be “impeached for high misdemeanors,” and urged the Senate to accept the motion.

2:30pm- Tear Them Down! Eugene school officials say they’re still working with police on the possibly unlawful removal of immigrant-friendly posters in a grade school. The top of the posters read “IMMIGRANTS WELCOME” – and were hung in hallways and classrooms at River Road /El Camino del Rio Elementary.  4-J officials say they believe a contractor took them all down over winter break. The suspect shared photos of the posters on Facebook, prompting accusations of student indoctrination from his friends. The post has since been removed and the contractor barred from the school.  “It wasn’t the ‘IMMIGRANTS WELCOME’, it was what was below that, that spoke about the border wall and that was where it gets a bit tricky with the politics of it all,” says 4-J District Superintendent Gustavo Balderas.Todd discusses.
