As the media celebrates biological male Lia Thomas blowing away the competition in the NCAA women’s swimming championships, the women hurt by it are getting ignored.
One Virginia Tech swimmer was in tears after she was knocked out of the final race because Thomas was competing even though she swam her best race of the season.

“I’ve got a teammate who did not make the final today because she was just bumped out. It’s heartbreaking to see someone who went through puberty as a male and has the body of a male be able to absolutely blow away the competition. You got into it with the mindset that you don’t have a chance.”
