UPDATE: “Thankfully there was no fire,” the NFL spokesperson said. “No business functions, including NFL RedZone, were interrupted.”
The NFL RedZone studio in California was evacuated during a live broadcast of the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles. Host Scott Hanson calmly explained they were being ordered to evacuate as alarm bells sounded in the background. There’s no word just yet on why the building was evacuated.
“This is a first in my first in my twenty-something years broadcasting career,” Hanson said. “We have an alarm going off in the studios of NFL RedZone right now, in our studios here in Inglewood, California. We are being told we need to evacuate the building. We do not know the nature of the emergency.” Watch the video below.
