DEVELOPING STORY: Elon Musk says that his young son was targeted by a “crazy stalker” who jumped on the hood of a car carrying the child. Click here to follow Todd’s daily newsletter for conservative news you won’t find on social media.
“Last night, car carrying lil X in LA was followed by crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood. Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family,” Musk wrote.
Sweeney is a reference to the notorious Jack Sweeney who ran an account titled @ElonJet which tracked Musk’s comings and goings.
The new owner of Twitter made that startling revelation in a series of tweets announcing a crackdown on Twitter accounts that have a history of doxing.
“Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation,” Musk said. “This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info.” If the information wasn’t real-time, he said that was okay. “Posting locations someone traveled to on a slightly delayed basis isn’t a safety problem, so is ok.”
