BULLETIN: PRESIDENT TRUMP, FIRST LADY EVACUATED FROM HILTON HOTEL
LIVE COVERAGE: President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have been evacuated from the White House Correspondents Dinner after a gunman opened fire outside the ballroom in the Washington Hilton Hotel.
“Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely,” the president said. “The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we “LET THE SHOW GO ON” but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement. They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different than planned, and we’ll just, plain, have to do it again.”
The vice president was also rushed out of the ballroom along with all of the Cabinet Secretaries. Secret Service agents were seen running on top of tables. Reporters dropped to the floor. This is a developing story and will be updated. Click here to get my breaking news alerts delivered to your inbox.
