The Star-Spangled Banner proudly waves once again atop Veterans Peak in Yountville, California. The flag and pole had been toppled by violent wind storms that sparked the Napa fires.
A group of firefighters with the San Bernardino County Fire Department climbed atop the mountain and posted a new American flag.
“Our veterans are passionate about the flag that flies on one of our highest peaks overlooking our home,” said a spokesperson for the Veterans Home of California in Yountville.
