Flight Attendant Stops Passengers From Honoring Fallen Hero

By Todd Starnes/Twitter

Dr. Pamela Gaudry was on board a Delta jetliner the other day bound for Savannah.

When the flight landed – passengers were told to remain in their seats.

On board was a casket – with the remains of a fallen Green Beret – Staff Sgt. Dustin Wright.  The staff sergeant was on his way back home to Toombs County, Georgia.

Dr. Gaudry and several other passengers felt it was their patriotic duty to stand in honor of this young man and sing the national anthem.

But a flight attendant ordered passengers to remain silent.  She said it was against company policy to sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Dr. Gaudry later posted a moving video on Facebook forlorn over her decision to obey the unpatriotic flight attendant. She said she was humiliated by her personal lack of courage to defy the flight attendant.

After the video went viral, Delta released a statement – saying they do not have a policy regarding the national anthem. They promised to look into the matter.

Until they do — I can assure you this broadcaster and Platinum Medallion Sky Miles member will not be flying Delta Airlines.
