The following is a transcript of Todd’s midday commentary.
Hello Americans. I’m Todd Starnes with news and commentary next.
Tensions are rising across the nation as Democrat lawmakers crack down on small business owners – forcing many to shut down – in the name of public safety.
In Memphis, Tennessee – a black county commissioner accused a group of white restaurant owners of being racist – for complaining about mask mandates.
Diners are now required to wear a face mask in between bites of fried chicken and sips of sweet tea.
In Erie County, New York about 100 business owners showed up at a private gym to meet about the China Virus rules and regulations.
At some point – the health department showed up and ordered the crowd to disperse.
Instead, the business owners stood their ground. They demanded to see a warrant and when one could not be presented – they ordered the health inspector to leave the property.
“You need to go have compassion in the parking lot. This is private property,” one of the businesses owners told the health inspector.
The crowd then chanted, “Get out, get out, get out.”
The melting pot is simmering folks – and soon – it’s going to be boiling.
