‘God Placed a Calling on My Life’ – Marsha Blackburn
US. Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) was one of several members of Congress who were targeted in a domestic terrorist plot against the White House and the UFC Freedom 250 fight. Blackburn spoke to me candidly about that news as well as the attacks on Christian ball players in Major League Baseball. Watch the full interview below:
“When God places a call on your life and you feel called to something, as I am so called to public service, and every day I say the big five, faith, family, freedom, hope, and opportunity, how do we preserve those? What can I do today that is going to make the lives of Tennesseans and indeed all Americans better? And that is such a driver for me, and I am just blessed to be able to every day work in service of my fellow man, to make certain that we preserve freedom. You know, you don’t have the China dream, the Russia dream, the Mexican dream, Canadian dream. You have the American dream. That is what people want. And I want all of our children to dream those big dreams. So to me, it’s worth that risk. And to get up and just, I’ve got a lot of good prayer warriors out there and they pray that protection and we keep working.“
