Heart rates were running high at Gold’s Gym this week.

A popular music artist says the Los Angeles-originated fitness franchise revoked her membership after she requested the gym prevent men from using the women’s locker room.

Tish Hyman, a 42-year-old rapper and record producer, was banned from the Gold’s Beverly Center location before posting on social media about a disturbing encounter with a man pretending to be a woman in the changing room, as reported by Daily Mail.

“I was naked, scared, and being yelled at. He called me a b**** in front of everyone,” Hyman posted on X along with a video of the transgender person in the locker room. She said there were “grown men with big d***s in the women’s locker room.”

In a video clip, a verbal altercation is shown in the hallway outside of the women’s room where multiple Gold’s staff members attempted to ease a tense situation between the biological male, Hyman, and other gym goers.

“You can’t get rid of me for this. I’m a woman and I have every right to not want a man in the restroom when I’m naked,” Hyman, who identifies as a lesbian woman, told gym workers.

Shortly after the encounter, Hyman, a Bronx-native, was escorted to the gym lobby where her membership was revoked, the New York Post reported.

According to OutKick, Hyman said, “Multiple women and I have repeatedly made written reports on this man for coming into our women’s locker room harassing us, and the gym staff has done absolutely nothing.”

In a livestream on Instagram, Hyman added that Gold’s declined to provide official documentation of her membership being revoked but that she was permitted one final workout on Monday. “I’m just a woman who’s standing up for women’s rights,” she said, adding that she’s not a Republican or Democrat.

The hip-hop singer-songwriter said she voted for Kamala Harris but is beginning to rethink the policies she used to support.

The Gold’s location was recently purchased by EoS Fitness. Representatives from both brands declined to comment on Hyman’s experience.

Conservative commentator and podcast host Riley Gaines praised Hyman on X, saying, “God bless you for speaking the truth loudly.” Gaines, who frequently advocates against biological men using female restrooms, shared a video of Hyman in the gym lobby protesting against Gold’s locker room policy.
