The co-founder of Grubhub, an online food delivery service, fired off a nasty email to employees who support President-elect Donald Trump — suggesting they resign.
“While demeaning, insulting and ridiculing minorities, immigrants and the physically/mentally disabled worked for Mr. Trump, I want to be clear that his behavior – and these views, have no place at Grubhub,” Matt Maloney wrote. “Had he worked here, many of his comments would have resulted in his immediate termination.”
Mr. Maloney, the company’s chief executive officer, then dropped the jaw-dropping bombshell.
“If you do not agree with this statement then please reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here,” he wrote. “We do not tolerate hateful attitudes on our team.”
In other words, Mr. Maloney will not tolerate tolerance or diversity.
“I absolutely reject the nationalist, anti-immigrant and hateful politics of Donald Trump and will work to shield our community from this movement as best as I can,” Maloney wrote referring Trump’s supporters.
To be clear, GrubHub does not tolerate hate and we are proud of all our employees – even those who voted for Trump. https://t.co/rY2br31fJJ

Mr. Maloney’s unhinged diatribe is already causing massive backlash — with many diners either cancelling their accounts or boycotting its delivery services.
For the record, I contacted Grubhub today and not only closed my account, but told them why. I simply can’t in good conscience support a company that opposes diversity.
