One of the reasons many people are voting for Donald Trump is because of his tough immigration policies. We cannot have a nation without borders.
American sovereignty matters. The rule of law matters.
Make no mistake – we have been invaded. There was a time in the not so distant past when nations went to war over stuff like that.
I support Mr. Trump’s plan to build a wall and secure the border and send those living among us illegally back to where they came from.
Most of his agenda could be accomplished by simply enforcing immigration laws already on the books.
But in recent days Mr. Trump and his surrogates have been sending mixed messages about immigration. The Trump campaign has strongly hinted it may be willing to soften its policies towards illegals.
Tonight – Mr. Trump will address that very issue in Arizona and I hope he clears up the confusion.
This is an issue of national importance and the American people cannot afford to be betrayed by yet another politician.
American lives are at stake. Just ask the family of Kate Steinle and the fire chief in Laplace, Louisiana.
If we had a secure border – they might still be alive.
