President Trump warned that if North Korea continues to threaten the United States it would be “met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.” And now one of his evangelical advisors says the president has the Almighty’s blessing.

“When it comes to how we should deal with evil doers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full of power to use whatever means necessary – including war – to stop evil,” said Dr. Robert Jeffress, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas.
Jeffress commended the president’s “resoluteness” against the North Koreans.
“God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jon-Un,” the Southern Baptist pastor said matter-of-factly.
He went on to say he was heartened to see that President Trump “will not tolerate any threat against the American people.”
“When President Trump draws a red line, he will not erase it, move it, or back away from it,” Jeffress said. “Thank God for a president who is serious about protecting our country.”
