Students at two Nevada high schools faced threats from classmates and teachers after they wore clothing adorned with the American flag as well as pro-Trump messages.
Parents of students at Shadow Ridge High School and Arborview High School told television station KLAS their children received violent threats over the patriotic attire.
“It’s a sad day when you can’t drop off your kids to school without worrying about terrorist threats to other students,” said Christopher Kennard, a concerned parent.

Two students tell 13 Action News that was the incident that set off a chain reaction at several valley high schools. They say school administrators at Shadow Ridge High told that student his Trump-related hat had to go. He says he was wearing it on his backpack.
Arborview High School senior, Calvin Wasden says he reported the threats because he felt he and his friends were the targets. “He was told this kid would come shoot up the school and not stop until he killed each and every one of us,” said Wasden.
Some students say they were physically accosted in the hallways and another student said he was told to remove a “Make America Great Again” ballcap.
“As a military veteran, I think they should voice their opinion and they have the right. For them to be denied that it’s not right either, said Norman Maggio, a concerned parent at the school.
One parent said the school district issued a voicemail warning of possible acts of violence.
“We are aware of rumor of threats to both Shadow Ridge and Arborview High School and we take threats very seriously,” the voicemail stated.
